Mythology is EVERYWHERE! Many of today’s businesses take their names, logos, or slogans from Greek mythology.

NIKE: the winged goddess of victory, both in war and in peaceful competition. Known to run and fly at great speeds (Luxury car maker Rolls-Royce uses her image for their emblem.)

APHRODITE: (Roman name – Venus) goddess of beauty and love. “Reveal the goddess in you.”

HERMES: (Roman name is Mercury) messenger of the gods, he is the and most clever of the gods. Also the god of travelers and conducts the souls of the dead to the Underworld Caduceus – Hermes’ staff is a symbol of the medical profession.
