Planned Visitor Parking Rate Increases Fall 2019

Visitor Rates Update Since the last rate increase in 2011-2012, visitor transactions have steadily increased except for FY 2017. It appears that lagging bus service created more visitor demand in FY 2015-16 and was relieved when service was added in FY 2017. Use appears to continue into the first hour of night rates from 5 pm to 5:59 pm. Rates are scheduled to increase again in fall 2019 to free up visitor parking for guests and maintain visitor parking’s share of funding our operating and capital expense. This relieves pressure on our regular permit rates. TS will be raising the hourly rates but not the daily maximum rate. TS plans to extend the day time hourly rate to 6 pm.

Extending Day Rate One Hour

Other Notes Other products such as conference parking, daily, weekly and monthly visitor rates have some compression issues. These rates will be adjusted to reflect hourly visitor rates. New schedules will be shared when these changes are determined. These rate adjustments are expected to increase visitor revenue between 10 and 15% depending on demand change. Total Paid Visitor Parking Revenue for FY 2018 was $5,652,043. Questions?
