What is an manufacturer Definition: The making of articles on a large scale using machinery. Uses raw materials to create physical products. The manufacturing sector can further be broken down into chemical manufacturers, energy manufacturers, industrial manufacturers, consumer products manufacturers and automotive manufacturers. These finished goods can be sold directly to consumers or to other manufacturing businesses that use them for making a different product.
