Teaching Vocabulary

Mini Lesson Each of you will be required to teach a 10-15 minute vocabulary lesson It will be based on a textbook of your choice. 4 - 5 words only Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of what was covered in the course

What you need to do Select a reading or listening text Select 4-5 vocabulary words to be taught Teach the words efficiently and clearly (FUMP) Deductive Inductive CCQ when you think it is needed Check-up the words Worksheet Activity Journal entry

You need to remember to Prepare your teaching materials Print enough for the class on your teaching day (worksheets, activity materials, etc. )
