THE RED COW AGREEMENT Joint meeting of Board & Council - 12 Jan 2016 BJOB to be designated the Chair of a the Strategic Plan Implementation Group (SPIG).Within a month he would get agreement from 4 or 5 people to join him on SPIG. These need not be from Board or Council. He will bring this list to Board and Council for approval. This approval would be taken as empowering SPIG to proceed with implementation of the Strategic Plan in whatever way they see fit providing they are following the templates set out in the published document. SPIG will then begin work on addressing the achievement of the 6 Pillars of the plan. This will most likely involve satellite groups being formed comprising of some members of SPIG and other members, probably from outside BI, with specialised knowledge in the particular areas being addressed. These satellite groups will report back to SPIG continuously. SPIG will report back to the Joint Board/Council forum for information purposes on a timescale to be agreed between them, possibly every 4 months. Good communication will be a priority of SPIG. This proposal was put to meeting and agreed by acclamation with no dissenters.
