Jim and Karen needed to get a heavy chair into their apartment.  Karen took it 10 meters from her car to the stairs using 6 Newtons of force.  Jim lifted it up the stairs 3 meters and used 20 Newtons of force.  Who did more work?

ESSENTIAL QUESTION: What land features make up a watershed? OBJECTIVES: -Take a quiz on Weathering, Erosion, Deposition, and Watersheds

Quiz Voice level 0 When you are finished, raise your hand, and I will pick up your quiz. You may read a book when you finish.

ESSENTIAL QUESTION: What are the ecoregions of Texas? OBJECTIVES: -Play vocabulary enrichment game.

Video: Earth’s Surface As we watch, we will discuss some of the process involved in creating the landforms we observe. Video

Pictionary Each table will contain two teams. Your shoulder partner is your teammate. 1 partner randomly chooses a vocabulary word out of the bag to draw on the whiteboard. The other partner will try to guess the word. Each team has 30 seconds to draw/guess what the word is. No words or numbers may be included in the drawing. Person who draws cannot speak.
