Words Only ambush calculate contribute dread employ extend frantic initial routine stun sturdy yield Math – Test –Tuesday, Fluency Quiz – Friday (mixed multiplication facts) Unit 3: Multi-Digit Multiplication and Division: (Eureka Math Module 3) Tuesday’s test will cover multiplying by multiples of 10, 100, and 1,000. Students will then begin to learn various strategies for multiplying 2, 3, or 4 digit numbers by a 1 digit number. Multiplication fact fluency is essential for our work in this unit. Please study facts nightly. *** Fluency quizzes are given weekly! Fluency quizzes will be averaged together for one grade at the end of the 2nd 9 Weeks grading period. Science – In-class graded assignment Unit 2: Earth’s Processes: Students will continue to explore rocks, fossils, and tectonic plates. We are looking forward to Diamond Del visiting our school for our gem mining adventure on November 1st and 2nd! Please send in permission slips along with $5.00 fee as soon as possible.
