Sam’s Big Red Truck By Jennifer Ross

This is Sam. He is fond of big trucks.

One day, Sam and his mom went to the kids shop.

At the kids shop, there was a big red truck.

“Mom, can I have the truck?” Sam said.

“No,” said Sam’s mom. Sam was sad.

“You have to do a job to get it,” mom said. ”What job?” Sam said.

“You can scrub the van,” mom said. Sam was glad.

Sam and his mom left the kids shop.

“I can do this!” said Sam.

Mom and Sam went back to the kids shop.

There it was on the shelf, the big red truck.

“There it is!” Sam said.

“Can I have the truck mom?” Sam said.

“Yes, you can have the truck. You did your job for it,” said mom.

Sam was glad! “Thank you mom!” said Sam.

Sam was glad to have his big red truck.
