Students should be speaking only French in the classroom. They should be creating dialogues, discussions, and any other activities that help them best learn the target language.

Research shows that students learn through working with and helping others. Students will be learning interactively as much as possible in the classroom.

AP Textbooks Primary textbook: APprenons, by Wayside Publishing En bonne forme- literature, grammar, vocabulary Une fois pour toutes- grammar En parlant- partner conversation practice Yabla.com- online video activities. APprenons, the 2nd part of chapter is AP Exam prep. Students have corresponding chapters to supplement vocabulary, grammar and lab work.

Curriculum AP French is taught exclusively in French. The curriculum is equivalent to a third year college level course in French composition and conversation. Involvement of Parents at Home Please check your child’s green homework sheets as often as possible. I strongly recommend your child purchase Barron’s AP French Language and Literature. Remind your child to study French daily. Students should listen to podcasts, watch videos and listen to music as often as possible.
