Welcome to Breakfast of Champions February 22, 2018

Mrs. Amy Archer

Max Kappel Max has been an incredible ambassador for the Embry Riddle program since it started four years ago. Max has chosen to continue to be a part of the program, even though he has been fulltime dual enrollment at Georgia Highlands for the last 2 years. I have chosen Max Kappel for Breakfast of Champions for his commitment to his studies and his passion for aviation.

Ms. Shannon Boyer

Olivia Nation I have many outstanding students in Work Based Learning this year, but Oliva has impressed me from the start. Her maturity and composure bespeaks of someone who is older and wiser than the typical high school student. She is nothing if not persistent, driven, and professional– and it shows in every circumstance thrown her way this year. She embodies what every single organization, company, or school would want in a member, employee or student. Above her obvious talent and passion for working with children, she has the “it” factor. As a result, she will be successful in ANYTHING she decides to pursue. I am proud to present her with the Breakfast of Champions award this morning! Congratulations, Olivia!

Mr. Steven Corrigan

Buck Hicks There is only one Buck. It is a pleasure to be around Buck. We will all miss him after graduation. Buck is easy to get along with. He is fun and he always has something to say! If he attacks life after high school like he did football and the classroom, he will enjoy it to the fullest. May he always look at everything he does with his great sense of humor. It will carry him through good times and hard times.

Mr. Tim Graves

Isaiah Chaney Isaiah is a very intelligent and hard working young man. He makes good grades, completes work in a timely manner. It shows in all of his grades, not just in my class. He is respectful and very well mannered. He is a fine example of what we expect out of students at Cartersville High School.

Mr. Phillip Hardy

Ahmari williams Ahmari is one of the most dependable and determined students I have ever had the pleasure to teach. Over the past four years, I have seen her mature and grow into a well rounded young lady. She has already taken steps to becoming a healthcare professional by completing her certified nursing assistant licenses and one day she will be a great registered nurse. She is the true example of the future of healthcare.

Mr. Tyler Putnam

Jair ramos Jair has done a great job this year. He is very creative and really takes the time and effort to plan when creating his videos. Jair utilizes all of the equipment in class to ensure his videos are high quality. He has become my "go to" student when I am asked to create a video for the school. I really appreciate his hard work as his videos are great examples to show my other students. Thank You and keep up the good work!

Mrs. Kenya Rowser

Sh’del bonadie Sh'Del has proven time and time again that he is not a quitter! Although, he began the year with a rocky start, he quickly rose to the challenge and demonstrated his commitment to academic excellence in Engineering class! Therefore, it is with great pride that I present this award to him on behalf of the Engineering & Technology class of the CTAE Department of Cartersville High School.

Mrs. Camille Spradley

Takarra williams Takarra is full of life- always smiling, always ready to step outside of her comfort zone, always boldly accepting new challenges. While I often have to remind her to bring her volume level down, and I still don't know how someone can have that much energy before 8am :), she brings a renewed energy and spirit to 1st period that puts a smile on my face and gets my school day off to a great start. Thank you, Takarra, for being my morning champion and challenging me each day to take on the world with a big smile and optimism.

Ms. Valerie Webb

Kristian Westmoreland To say Kristian has an impact on my classroom is an understatement. An extremely responsible student, she is very involved in so many projects and events that I couldn't list them. She approaches every day and every request I make of her with a great attitude and an amazing work ethic. There have been days that I would not have made it without Kristian. I am so grateful for her every day!

Congratulations Champions! February 2018
