The be inspired project Face Clothing UK Callum Bradbury, Jessica Miller and Joseph Henshall. Face Clothing UK is an independent streetwear brand that aims to provide innovative unisex clothing and accessories utilising local manufacturing and design inspiration from the areas of Staffordshire. “Face The World” The be inspired project We applied for the scheme for the additional business advice, support, guidance and funding to help make our business idea into a reality. All members of the Be Inspired programme have been extremely helpful with guidance and support. The business clubs we attended provided further inspiration and ideas for how we could improve our business. Our business journey so far has been great! We have all grown as individuals and learnt so much within the first six months. We all juggle our business alongside full time jobs or University, therefore our time management skills have definitely been tested. We have managed to successfully launch one clothing collection consisting of a variety of products, alongside holding a clothing launch party for our customers which went extremely well. We are now currently in the process of launching our next collection and preparing for another launch event. We have all personally developed within our business, especially in aspects such as team working, time management and organisation. We have also become more innovative and grown in our creativity - not only for the purpose of product design but in the way we operate our business. I would extremely recommend this scheme to any students who would be interested in starting their own business. Give it a go! It is not as scary as you may think, do not live in regret of not trying to make your business concept/idea a reality. You may end up creating your own graduate job once you have finished University! The future for Face Clothing UK is to continue making new, fresh streetwear collections whilst expanding our brand across the north region. From there we will be looking into exporting opportunities within the next couple of years to hopefully become global. Feel free to check us out! - www.faceclothinguk.co.uk
