ISLAM(QURAN) & SCIENCE: Science is a knowledge as the other knowledges which has been given by Allah Almighty to the human beings as, He has said in the Holy Quran: “Taught the human being what he was not knew.” Quran is a book of signs but it is not a book of science. Facts and realities mentioned in holy Quran have been verified by science today. The holy Quran says: “He will create those things which you don’t know.”

Cont. Main purpose of science and inventions is to make life easier and comfortable. Islam is not opposed to comfortable life, but only telling to obey the orders of Allah Almighty and Holy Prophet (PBUH). In past, man used to travel by foot but now quicker and better modes are invented for travelling. Approach of a believer scientist – every invention and progress of science is because of blessing of Allah Almighty. Approach of a non believer scientist – I am inventing things for the betterment of humanity. The Holy Quran says: “Every power lies with Allah Almighty.”

EXAMPLES 1.CHALLENGE OF HOLY QURAN: In Holy Quran, Allah Almighty has challenged those people who have doubts in their hearts related to revelations of Holy Quran. Allah Almighty fourteen hundred years ago gave a challenge that to bring a verse similar to any of the verse of Holy Quran; yet no one till now has succeeded. The Holy Quran says: “If you have doubt whatsoever we have revealed on our Prophet, then bring one Surah like the Holy Quran and call all your helpers if you are truthful.” Science has got so much progress and inventions even the Aero planes and rockets but even then science did not accept this challenge and proved that this book is revealed by Allah almighty.

Cont. 2.SHAPE OF EARTH: Francis Drake, a scientist presented his theory in 1597 that the shape of earth is oval but holy Quran 1400 years ago already explain that the shape of earth is spherical and oval in the following verse: “He is Allah who created the heavens and the earth with truth and makes the day into night and night into day slowly and gradually.” Francis drake gave his theory when he visited the whole world and observed that the merging of day and night into each other is slowly and gradually and it is only possible if the shape of the earth would have been oval not flat. The fact and reality of Holy Quran proved by science.

Cont. 3.CREATION OF UNIVERSE: Science now a days presented a theory that this universe was a joint and united mass, than there was big bang held and all the planets separated from each other. But Allah Almighty in Holy Quran 1400 years ago clearly explained that this universe was a united mass and then Allah Almighty separated it into galaxies, moon, sun and stars; The Holy Quran says: “Have not these disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a united piece of mass, and then we parted them.” The fact and reality presented by Holy Quran, science proved and verified after 1400 years the reality of Holy Quran.

Cont. 4.REFLECTED LIGHT OF MOON: The Holy Quran says “Blessed is He who has placed in the heavens big stars, placed there a great lamp (sun) and placed moon giving light.” Science gave a theory after thirteen hundred years that the light of moon is not its own but it has been received from the sun, whereas the sun has its own light. The words given in Holy Quran for sun are i.e shams, zia, wahaj and siraj and for moon i.e noor, muneer and qamar, it means that the words given for sun already telling that sun has its own light and words for moon telling that the moon has not its own light. Science proved the reality of Holy Quran.

CONT. 5.WATER CYCLE: Water is essential for living; water system is mentioned in Holy Quran; Allah Almighty himself has taken the responsibility to provide water to every living creature; science verified the water system after thirteen hundred years, because the first scientist Bernard Palsy presented his theory in 1580 about the water cycle system where as Holy Quran 1400 years ago told the humanity about this water system. Quran says: “From His signs there is a lightening that He shows you for fear and hope, and He sends down water from the sky which revives the earth after its death with a clear water system.” Science proved the fact of the Holy Quran.

Cont. 6.ANIMALS & BIRDS: Science gave today the theory that the birds and animals are living in the shape of communities and together in the shape of families. Holy Quran 1400 years ago already informed the humanity that the birds and animals living with their own community. Quran says “there is not a moving(living) creature on earth, not a bird that flies with its two wings but are communities like you”. Science prove the reality and fact of holy Quran.
