LT. Cunningham’s Class This week in: We are learning: Reading: We are starting a new story, Energy Makes Things Happen. We are learning about latin roots and continuing to learn about Main idea and details. Math: The students will be learning about factors and multiples and problem solving. We will also be reviewing for a test on Friday. Science: How is energy transferred and what are the different kinds? Writing: Rough drafts of the Halloween stories, revising/editing, and final drafts Important Reminders News Lit. Night is 11/07 Book Fair 11/05 – 11/09 E-learning day is 10/31 Veterans Day Program 11/09 (more information to come) Nov. 2nd is the end of the 2nd grading period Only 3 reading logs and the math worksheet need to be completed this week. Week of Oct. 29 to Nov. 02 ccunningham@goapa.org

If they get all of the words on the pretest correct, then they don’t have to take a post test. Fridays are spelling test days and the results will be sent home either that day or Monday. You can also go online to see your student’s scores on activities and tests!
