K'Nex Transportation Shaw STEM Lab 2017

Introduction Everyone is going somewhere! With that, they need a way to get there! Cars, planes, trains and even rockets seem to be the best way to do that!

First thing first… Before you start building, make sure you read the entire PowerPoint! Don’t forget to complete all the necessary parts required.

About K’Nex If you’ve never used or built with K’Nex, check out this helpful guide on how they can connect!

About K’Nex Next to the K’Nex area there are tubs for you to gather your parts and to store your pieces. Do NOT take your project apart!

About K’Nex Some of the K’Nex pieces pictured in the instructions will be different color than the K’Nex we have. Be sure you are looking at the color AND the K’Nex piece. K’Nex 3 is a HIGHLY specialized set of K’Nex. While some of the pieces are out with the rest of them, some pieces are EXTREMELY small! Your team will need to ensure that you don’t lose any of the pieces! If you can’t find some of the K’Nex pieces; you may need to check them out.

Do It! Look on our class website for the K’Nex instructions. Be sure to read and answer the questions associated with the K’Nex project you’ve built. Projects in K’Nex are more challenging with more in depth research. Be sure you have done all of the research before moving on to a different project.
