WELCOME at the General Workers’ Union

Our Objectives Founded on 5th October 1943 Dynamic Organization Promote workers’ collective rights to ensure their social and economic well-being through better working and living conditions. The GWU is driven by the principle of socialjustice.   

Our Objectives The GWU seeks to achieve: A social and just system that guarantees a sustainable standard of living free from constraints. Decent work as a primary basic need, which includes equal opportunities for everyone irrespective of gender, religion, race and political orientation. The workers' right to choice of employment.
