Psalm 4

Matthew 26:26-29 NKJV [26] And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." [27] Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. [28] For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. [29] But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.“

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 NKJV [1] Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: [2] On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.

Confidence and Peace In Times of Distress Psalm 4 Confidence and Peace In Times of Distress

Life is very hard nowadays. Confidence and Peace In Times of Distress Life is very hard nowadays. There are many asking for help in order to gain confidence and peace during these difficult times in which we live. Even though technology (supposedly) should make our lives easier, it has become and is becoming the opposite day after day. It seems that for many (me), the old days were much better than what we are living in now. Many are losing confidence and peace in these horrible times of distress, when we see all around us all kinds of falsehood! Are you in any kind of distress? Are you ready to receive help and comfort from the Lord?

Confidence and Peace In Times of Distress Psalm 4:1-8 1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; 2 Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer. How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness And seek falsehood? Selah 3 But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The Lord will hear when I call to Him. 4 Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the Lord. 6 There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?” Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. 7 You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. 8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
