Are These Days Special to God, Jesus/Yeshua and The Holy Spirit?

Several very significant events. Let’s take a chronological look at twelve of these. Pause and reflect on what has taken place on these special days that God has put in place.

Jewish literature supports the concept that that Event 1: Creation Jewish literature supports the concept that that Adam was created on Tishri 1.

This was most likely the date of the Feast of First fruits. Event 2: Mankind Saved from the Waters of the Flood At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down, and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat (Gen. 8:3-4). This was most likely the date of the Feast of First fruits.

Noah and his family were brought up from the water. Believers are brought up from the water of baptism. Noah and his family were to start a new life for humanity. Believers live a new life.

Event 3: The Calling of Israel Israel was called out of Egypt on   Israel was called out of Egypt on the first Day of Unleavened Bread to be a special people.

“What advantage is there to being a Jew?” Paul answers, “Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God” (Rom. 3:1–2)..

Event 4: Giving of the Ten Commandments The law was given to lead mankind to God. The Ten Commandments not only reveal God’s greatness; they also reveal man’s inadequacy and how much we need God.

Event 5: The Birth of Jesus/Yeshua most likely occurred in the midst of the fall holy day season and was very likely on one of the fall holy days.

Event 6: Yeshua’s Proclamation to the World that He is the Messiah “On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and …” (John 7:37).

The climax of the festival is referring to the seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot.

Event 7: Jesus’/Yeshua’s Crucifixion This immortal event was predicted at the first Passover in approximately 1450 B.C.

Event 8: Jesus’/Yeshua’s Resurrection The resurrection and ascension to heaven were predicted at the first Feast of First Fruits almost 1,500 years before they happened.

Event 9: The Giving of the Holy Spirit The ability to overcome the trials and temptations we face every day: We need God’s Holy Spirit to do this.

Event 10: The Return of Jesus/Yeshua is assured to us by the Feast of Trumpets.

Event 11: The Judgment of Man and the Removal of the Tempter These events are foreshadowed by the Day of Atonement.

Event 12: The Reign of Jesus the Messiah/Yeshua HaMashiach This almost unfathomable event is portrayed by the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot.

Many of these are days on which God made “appointments” for future events long before their actual fulfillment.

declare His plan for mankind from the beginning to the end. God’s Holy Days declare His plan for mankind from the beginning to the end.
