World Evangelization statistic In 1900, more than half of the world was un- evangelized By 2000, that number had fallen to 30 percent. Christianity in the USA Pew Research Center found that 71% of Americans identified as Christian in 2014 - down from 78% in 2007. In the same period, Americans identifying as having no Spiritual belief (religion) grew from 16% to 23%.
