‘Wear Your Pyjamas To School Day’ Newsletter 23rd November 2018 Pupil attendance this week: 91.5% Dear Parents, It has been another fantastic week here at Dycorts school. After school club have had an excellent session as they enjoyed exploring the new sensory equipment. Thank you for all the reply slips that have been returned to see your child’s teacher, if you haven’t replied yet please send it back to secure a time slot at parents evening. Staff Member Week! Note From Our Head Boy and Head Girl . Note From Our Head Boy and Head Girl Well done everyone for our first school practice of the Christmas play. Keep it up! Oak class been busy practicing the Christmas play and singing the songs. . This Week Saplings have been learning about Navratri. In P.E we danced and used the sticks, making sure we only hit our sticks. . Pine class have enjoyed their messy play session. Using coloured rice, mixing pouring and stirring it. As part of our topic 'festivals around the world' this week Elder tree are looking at Japan. We got creative making our Japanese carp kites.  . This week Linden Class had lots of fun making and flipping pancakes in the Life Skills Room! We later decorated them to look like the Three Little Pigs!   This week in Willow class we have been doing number work. We have had a great time and as you can see Miss Hadley has enjoyed the number work too!!! . Elm Class have been making Gingerbread biscuits. Rowan class enjoyed their pyjama day on Friday, they had fun dressing up and enjoyed doing some fun maths games. Staff Member of the Week! Maria Layton for her continued support across the school, for her organisational skills to ensure all classes have the correct equipment, as well as all the effort given to after school club for pupils to have a positive experience.
