Class Dojo and Rewards Dear Parent or Guardian, We wanted to tell you about ClassDojo.  ClassDojo allows us to track student behavior and learning skills throughout the day in PE.  One of the great features of ClassDojo is that it allows us to send you a “behavior and skills report” every Friday by email if requested.  Our hope is that this will bring us closer together and help you better understand the progress of your student on a week to week basis in Physical Education. I have also listed our PE class rules and behavior consequences below.  Also, check out our YES PE website(yesknightspe@weebly.com) that features PE news and updates in our program . We are looking forward to fun and active year in Physical Education. YES PE EXPECTATIONS: 1.Be respectful--to yourself, others and equipment. 2. Be a good sport--compliment and encourage each other.3.Be SAFE and Have FUN!!! 4. Wear Tennis Shoes or Safe Shoes in PE! 5. Play fair--be honest. 6.Always TRY YOUR BEST! BEHAVIOR CONSEQUENCES: 1st Offense-Warning 2nd Offense- Name recorded on class dojo app and also may result in sitting out 3rd Offense- Parent notification by dojo app or phone call by Coach No Tennis Shoes Policy may result into a dojo if continued on a regular basis! Note: If student name is recorded on dojo during the week because of behavioral reasons then student will lose Free Time on Choice Fridays. Also, 3 or more dojos will result to a Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory Grade in conduct in PE for 9 weeks. Best wishes, Coach Smith and Mrs. Draughon Student name and Homeroom Class: _______________________________________ Your email address: ___________________________________ ___ I do not have an email address

Shoe Policy Wearing the wrong shoes can really impact a student’s safety or success during PE activities. Shoes like boots, sandals, slip-ons, even dress shoes can get in the way with simple activities like running, jumping, and stopping.  It is important for students to wear proper footwear (i.e. tennis shoes, running shoes, or sneakers) in order to participate safely in class activities, and to be successful with those activities. Your  cooperation for their safety and active participation is very much appreciated. Other shoes with rubber soles are ok
