Scouts BSA Girl Troop XXXX Scout Oath: On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. A Scout Is: Trustworthy Loyal Helpful Friendly Courteous Kind Obedient Cheerful Thrifty Brave Clean Reverent “If a girl is to be equally efficient with her brother for work in the world, she must be given equal chances with him, equal chances for gaining character and skill discipline and bodily health, and equal chances for using these when she has got them.” -Robert Baden-Powell (Founder of Boy Scouting) Who we are: A group of adults and young women (ages 11-17) who are committed to developing our personal character, citizenship and fitness by living the Scout Oath and Law in our daily lives What we do: • Develop skills for personal growth and leadership. • Head out on outdoor adventures to hone our skills and develop confidence and teamwork. • Besides weekly meetings, we strive for once monthly camping or outdoor excursions, including summer camps and weekend overnighters. • The Troop looks forward to attending summer camp and earning . • Additionally, we look forward to offering high adventure outings for older youth whether at a BSA High Adventure Camp or on a local trek.
