About CIFAR CIFAR brings together outstanding researchers from across disciplines and borders to identify and address important global challenges. CIFAR is supported by the governments of Canada, Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, as well as individuals, foundations and corporations across Canada and the world. About Genetic Networks The Genetic Networks program at CIFAR is charting genetic and molecular interactions to understand how biological systems work and how they fail. The aim is to map complete networks of genetic and molecular interactions, and to use them to decipher the rules of how genes influence one another, what environmental factors alter those interactions, and how the impact of genetic change is propagated through biological systems.

PARTNER GET The GET Conference brings together leading thinkers to discuss how we measure and understand people and their traits. For the past five years, this event has explored the frontiers of understanding about human biology and serves as an annual forum to debate the technical, commercial, and societal impacts. Since 2010, the GET Conference has been produced by PersonalGenomes.org, in support of the Global Network of Personal Genome Projects.
