November 26th - November 30th Ms. Koons’ class November 26th - November 30th November 26- Book Fair shopping day November 27- Cornerstone Awards November 29- Picture retakes November 30- Sight Word Test Reading: Units of Study We will continue to practice reading fluency and reading with a partner. Stamina is very important at this time. Writing: Writer’s Workshop We will continue to write books about small moments. The students will focus on thinking across pages, drawing, then writing their pieces. Math: Geometry We will start our discussion on geometry. We will find the sides and vertices of different shapes. Science: Maps We will continue to learn about maps and globes. We will focus on creating maps and reading maps.   Sight Words- all, but, had, has, so Please study these with your child before the test of Friday! Principal Logan will be stopping by our room this week! We are so excited to have her join one of our lessons. If your child is getting an award on Tuesday, please come to support. Our school Book Fair is this week. Our shopping day is tomorrow (Monday). Your child has made a wish list of different books they are interested in. I have also created a wish lift. Please think about donating books to our classroom library. Thank you for continuing to support me 
