Ms. Andrea’s Newsletter November 2018 What We’re Learning: counting forwards and backwards, letter identification and sounds, colors and shapes, sequencing, name recognition, being proactive, following directions and of course more Fall crafts and activities. Our Schedule: Our routine is set! Everyone does a great job staying on track during the day. If you are wondering why more “work” does not come home, it is because most of our activities are hands on. We do a lot of learning centers that involve manipulatives. Please let me know if you have questions. If you are curious about what our classroom looks like, or what we do everyday, there is a link to a video on my website that gives you a little preview of our day. Special Announcements: October flew by! We will continue to go outside as long as we have nice fall weather. With the cooler weather, please send in a light jacket or sweater for your child to wear. Please remember to label jackets so we don’t send children home with the wrong clothes. This month we are going to try some cooking activities to help our students work on following directions and sequencing. It should be fun and messy! More information will follow. All allergies will be considered. Please continue to check your child’s red folder daily. This is the best place to find out about their day. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Don’t forget to read with your child! Thank you for your support!
