Diet and Diabetes What is it? Disease in which the body produces little or no insulin or cannot properly use insulin.

HYPOGLYCEMIA WHAT IS IT A condition in which there is too much insulin in the body. Causes blood sugar level to be low. People with Hypoglycemia experience a rapid increase in blood sugar followed by a sudden drop. Common with people who have diabetes.

Example of Diabetes diet Diabetic diets can be complicated, but you can plan accordingly to how your body breaks down food. Some people find it helpful to create meals using a planning process. A popular method is the plate method Divide your plate in ½ nonstarchy vegetables,1/4 with lean, low-fat protein, and ¼ with carbohydrates.

Dealing with Diabetes Dealing with this disease can be frustrating, but there are people who can help you. A physician and dietitian can work with someone to make a plan. A person may be advised to eat complex carbohydrates and protein to provide long lasting energy. Also have regular examinations to test blood sugar levels and reevaluate diet. Eat six small meals to maintain a constant blood sugar level.

Eat six small meals a day. why should you limit the amount of sweets you eat? -Because simple sugars increase blood sugar and the need for insulin.
