Matthew 26:70-74 All the disciples left him. Matthew 26:56 Do we make promises to the Lord we don’t keep? (Romans 6; Colossians 3)

A Watch That Was Not Kept Disciples in the Garden. Mark 14:32-42 “Watch and pray …” Mark 14:38 Critical time! “My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death … watch.” Have we failed to “watch and pray”? Conclusion Conscience should have smitten them! Peter – wept bitterly. Luke 22:62 Disciples – couldn’t answer Mark 14:40 Judas – Hanged himself. Matthew 27:3-5 Pilate – Coward. Matthew 27:24 Jewish court – Didn’t care. Matthew 27:1; 26:59ff Conscience should have smitten them!
