Revelation 7:9-12  After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10  and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" 11  All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12  saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

GIFTS FOR GOD

GIFTS FOR GOD God has given us so much: His Son, salvation, physical and spiritual blessings, a family/church, a home in heaven etc. What do you give to God, who has everything? Acts 17:24-25  God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25  Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

GIFTS FOR GOD Psalm 50:7-15  "Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you; I am God, your God! 8  I will not rebuke you for your sacrifices Or your burnt offerings, Which are continually before Me. 9  I will not take a bull from your house, Nor goats out of your folds. 10  For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills. 11  I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are Mine. 12  "If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness. 13  Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats? 14  Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High. 15  Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."

1. GIVE OUR SELF TO GOD 2 Corinthians 8:3-5  For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, 4  imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. 5  And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15  For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15  and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

GIVE OUR SELF TO GOD 1 Corinthians 6:19-20  Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20  For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. Romans 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

USE OUR GIFTS FROM GOD Acts 2:38-39  Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39  For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." Galatians 5:22-25  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23  gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24  And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

2. USE OUR GIFTS FROM GOD Romans 12:5-8  so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7  or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8  he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

3. GIVE PRAISE, GLORY AND HONOR TO GOD Revelation 4:10-11  the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11  "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created." 1 Timothy 1:17  Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

3. GIVE PRAISE, GLORY AND HONOR TO GOD Revelation 5:11-12  Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12  saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!" Hebrews 13:15  Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

4. GIVE OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD Acts 5:29  But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

4. GIVE OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD Hebrews 5:8-9  though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. 9  And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, 1 Peter 1:13-16  Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14  as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15  but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16  because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."

5. GIVE OUR THANKSGIVING TO GOD 2 Corinthians 9:15  Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! Romans 6:17-18  But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18  And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 1 Corinthians 15:56-58  The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57  But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

5. GIVE OUR THANKSGIVING TO GOD Ephesians 5:18-20  And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19  speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20  giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Colossians 3:17  And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:18  in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
