Exploitation …when someone USES another person to get what they want, not caring how the other person feels.

Sexual Abuse …an example of extreme EXPLOITATION.

What is sexual abuse?

Who might be a sexual abuser?

Sexual abuse is not your fault. God loves you! You are good. The abuse is bad. Sexual abuse is not your fault.

The wound won’t go away. It will fester if you don’t deal with it. Sexual abuse is like a serious wound that needs to be healed. The wound won’t go away. It will fester if you don’t deal with it.

Talk to someone you trust. Keep talking until you find someone who can help you heal.

???KEEP A SECRET??? What if a friend tells you about being abused, and makes you promise not to tell anyone?

This is a secret you can NOT keep. You MUST get help for your friend. Talk to an adult you can TRUST who will find the help your friend needs.
