Historical time series (HTS) for new NUTS regions The NUTS Regulation (art. 5.5) specifies that: - in case of amendments to the NUTS, - the Member States concerned shall transmit the historic data for the new breakdown; - the list of the data to be provided and their length are to be specified in an implementing act under the regulatory procedure with scrutiny, - taking into account the feasibility of providing them; - data is to be supplied within two years after the amendment to the NUTS (= 1 January 2020).
