The Supreme Court All judges who serve on the Supreme Court are also known as justices. To become a Supreme Court justice, a person is nominated by the president. When the president nominates a Supreme Court justice, what do you think they look for? Why is that important?

The Supreme Court After the nomination, the Senate must approve it in order for the judge to become a Supreme Court justice. What is that an example of? Why is that important? What does that help to protect?
