Location is where a place is found. 2. Relative location is where a place is located relative to other places Absolute location is the exact position of a place on the globe

A place has features that distinguishes it from other places. 1. Physical characteristics 2. Human characteristics

3. Human-Environment Interaction Human-environment interaction is how people use or change their environment

4. Movement Movement is how people, goods and ideas move between places movement in the USA

5. Regions A region is a group of places with at least one common characteristic, such as… Language Areas Political divisions Religions Vegetation
