Matthew 6-7 The theme seems to be: “The Kingdom of God comes first.”
Matthew 6:9-11 Four differences between the Book of Mormon and the Bible concerning the “Lord’s Prayer.” v. 9 “who” is added, and “which” is deleted. v. 10 “Thy kingdom come” is deleted. v. 10 “on” is switched with “in.” v. 11 “Give us this day our daily bread” is deleted.

Matthew 6:24 The things we spend our time, money, and effort are the “masters” we serve. We cannot serve God and the things of this world.
Matthew 7 The last portion of the sermon is about the final judgment and how Christ’s disciples could prepare themselves to enter into the presence of God. First, their judgment of others needed to be in righteousness and mercy. Disciples are to be judged by the same standards that they have judged others.
Matthew 7:1 There are many times we must judge and evaluate, but we should do so righteously. This is different than assuming that we must never judge (President Spencer W. Kimball, A Message to Students, 20th November 1977).
