Honors English Crucible Day 43 Reminders: Test tomorrow; book wiki must be uploaded by 7am on Friday Quickwrite: We’ve spent the term reading nonfiction, but this play was a fictionalized account. What can drama or literature do that non-fiction cannot, and vice versa? In groups—define: decisions, loyalty, and relationships—support definitions with examples from the text, share with the class. Discuss thoughts/questions on “Tragedy and the Common Man” Discuss: Choose one of the meanings of the word “crucible” and give an example of a crucible from history (not the play) or current events.
