The LU Concept: Families have equity in property owning company Property purchased by limited liability company (LLC), owned by families. LU is managing partner. LLC rents rooms to Residents, Home Companions and occasionally others. (Rent levels set for SSI/SSDI affordability.) Rents pay operational expenses- mortgage, property maintenance, improvements, and a full time Community Manager. Parents select independent companies to provide support and programming for Residents.
