Daily Agenda 9/17/18 English II

Objective- I can cite strong and thorough textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. DO NOW: Hand in any of the assignments that are currently due. Place these items on my desk. Take out your copy of, “Literary Devices and Terms” and the poem “From Eden”. Reread the poem and familiarize yourself with our notes from Friday. Add any new notes based on the video that we watched.

Objective Assessment: I can cite strong and thorough textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. How does the author use repetition in stanzas 4, 7, and 8? What is the meaning of these repeated lines? What other literary device is used by the author in the repeated lines from question 1? What inference can you draw from these lines? Why?
