When to Apply Seniors: October 1st- March 2nd (2019-2020 application using 2017 taxes) Juniors: October 1st- March 2nd of your Senior Year (2020-2021 app, 2018 tax)

First Time + Full Time = Free Tuition Be a first-time college student Enroll in a minimum of 12 units for the fall 2018 term Complete a quick FT3 application/pledge Complete the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Act Application Have an educational plan on file Complete a minimum of 12 units for the semester with a GPA of 2.0 or higher Receive a refund of your enrollment fees!!!

Types of Aid Grants- money don’t have to repay Pell (federal): $6,095/year 1819 Cal (state): GPA also, March 2nd deadline BOG Fee Waiver -> Promise Grant Loans- money you DO repay Scholarships

Opportunities at 4-year institutions California Middle Class Scholarship Amounts vary – covers up to 40% of system wide tuition and fees CSU or UC income of up to $171,000 State University Grants (SUG) Covers CSU system-wide fees California Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan Covers UC’s system-wide tuition for California resident whose total family income is less than $80,000 a year

Scholarship Opportunities DVC Scholarships Scholarships offered via the DVC Foundation Available only to DVC students External Scholarships Scholarships offered by outside organizations, businesses, and individual donors
