AP Participation since 2009 -SINCE 2009, OUR NUMBER OF UNIQUE AP STUDENTS HAS QUADRUPLED (82 vs. 322). -IN ADDITION, THE NUMBER OF OVERALL TESTS ADMINISTERED HAS GONE FROM 145 TO 623 … 4 TIMES AS MANY! -EXPANSION OF MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR STUDENTS TO ENGAGE AND PARTICIPATE IN HIGH LEVEL COURSEWORK. Verona Public Schools

% Unique Student AP Participation since 2009 -WE HAVE INCREASED OUR % OF STUDENTS WHO TAKE AP CLASSES FROM 14.5% TO 46.4% (INCREASE 3 TIMES)! -NOW WE ARE NEARLY 1 OUT 2! -OUR FOCUS IS TO PROVIDE MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE OUR STUDENTS WITH CHALLENGING COURSEWORK. Verona Public Schools

Overall Average AP Score since 2009 -EVERY year we have more unique students enroll in AP classes and we administer more AP exams AND our OVERALL AP AVERAGE continues to stay above a “3” which is a score (3, 4, 5) that may earn our students college credits! Verona Public Schools

% Unique AP Students with Scores of 3+ *2013 - 171 UNIQUE STUDENTS = 70.8% (121 STUDENTS EARNED 3+ ON AN AP EXAM) *2018 - 322 UNIQUE STUDENTS = 72.7% (234 STUDENTS EARNED 3+ ON AN AP EXAM) **We nearly doubled our unique student numbers and still increased our percentage of students earning a 3 or more by 2% Verona Public Schools

AP Highlights 3.92 average since 2012! Verona Public Schools Dr. Wehbeh has had tremendous results over the past 7 years, her average is nearly a 4.0! Verona Public Schools

3.90 average with over 50 students! AP Highlights 3.90 average with over 50 students! Ms. Wallerstein has doubled # of students enrolled in AP HUG and the average is nearly identical! Verona Public Schools

2nd Highest Average for VHS in 2018! AP Highlights 2nd Highest Average for VHS in 2018! Mrs. Burke has motivated and inspired her AP Micro and Macro students to much success! Verona Public Schools

AP Highlights Over 290 students have taken over the past 8 years! AB & BC are taught together to accommodate scheduling! Mr. Wertz non only has increased his numbers in AP Calculus BC but he teaches both Calculus AB and BC at the same time still gets very good results. Mr. Wertz has the largest amount of participation in AP Computer Science in the entire state last year with 63 students and has had over 290 over the past 8 years! Verona Public Schools
