MATRIX MAP EXAMPLE KEY MESSAGES: We have a history of breaking even, so our balance sheet is weak and we are very vulnerable when faced with shifts in funding sources. We rely on unrestricted grantwriting to help us break even, but have not developed and tended to a clear approach to generating surplus.
