Human Battery Stem Activity for Students/Teachers

Activity Subject: Electrics Aim of the experiment is to demonstrate the electricity obtained on human body

Experiment / Activity Materials: Copper plate Zinc plate Micro ammeter

Experimental Procedure: The ampermeter is connected to the copper plate via positive, negative to the zinc plate. Put your hand zinc plate, the other hand is placed on the copper plate. Observe the changes in ampermeter.

Conclusion In our experience, the circuit is completed on our own body. Our body acts like a solution. Every metal has an electronegativity. The ampermeter deviates from the fact that electronegativity of the metals are different. For the first time, the Italian physicist Alessandro Count VOLTA built this setup and built the first electricity generator. That is why this circuit is called Volta Battery
