Time to share! Why did you join Key Club? Why did you end up staying? What do you love about Key Club? What do you know about Key Club?

Why is Membership Recruitment Important? Members are the core of Key Club International Remember, we are all first and foremost members Without them, our organization would not exist 2018-2019 District Goal: 41,500 dues-paid members

the highest governing body! Inverted Pyramid Members are the highest governing body!

Short Term Recruitment Club Rush/Day Key Club booth at school registration Incentives (food, prizes… ) Make clothespins or hand out small flyers with meeting details (location & date) to 'tag' potential members with during club rush day  

Long Term Recruitment It’s always good to recruit members, but how can you retain all your members?

Retaining Members Hold consistent meetings MAKE MEETINGS FUN! - Incentives, icebreakers, and FUN Try new service projects and fundraisers BEE a role models for other members Show your love and spirit for Key Club

Always welcome and connect to members (SMILE!) Do not force them to stay - Respect one’s decisions! Represent yourself to the community Educate members about our organization Hold smooth transition of leadership - Help your new officers!

Get help from outside sources (ask your LTG or Kiwanis to help!) Display the four core values BEE a leader - Organization, communication, compassion, support, transparency, and so much more! Have a goal/objective to reach

Remember to Share - Personal experiences - Leadership guidance Leadership opportunities are everywhere! - The Four Core values - Our projects & major emphasis programs
