Property Committee Overview The Property Committee has been formed by the Board of Directors to oversee and facilitate future stages of property development and transition.  Included in this committee’s area of responsibility are: The oversight of investment in existing camp properties the Board voted to retain. The divesting of properties identified to be retired. The guidance of the three-year plan to manage properties that are retained under a review status.

Timeline and Retired Camps Update November 2017: Board of Directors approved a long range property and program strategy. Prioritized all seven of GSHPA’s camp properties into three categories: Retire Review Retain

Camps Retired Retired Camps: Camp Echo Trail – closed & sold Camp Golden Pond – closed & sold Camp Louise – GSHPA is awaiting a response from the Friends of Camp Louise in regard to a proposed sales agreement

Camps Under Review Camp Archbald: Wastewater system deficiencies continue to be assessed and discussed $75,000 for mandated wastewater lagoon maintenance Costs for full system repairs are upwards to $550,000 Despite rumors, GSHPA has NOT received or signed a proposal with Cabot Oil & Gas

Camps Under Review Camp Furnace Hills: Currently closed, but accepting reservations for Spring 2019 GSHPA’s broker will be reaching out to all of those parties who have shown an interest in purchase of acreage slated for sale, within the next month Insurance and philanthropy dollars will go to the rebuilding of a latrine that was destroyed in the storm in February 2017 Costs of rebuilding are higher than expected due to building codes requiring expanded access and electricity

Camps Under Review Camp Happy Valley: Continues to be used at high rates Several maintenance projects slated for FY19

Utilization/Benchmarks Benchmarks are based on subsidy rates, as per Board of Directors approved motions. Camp Archbald & Happy Valley: FY18: 90% FY19: 50% FY20: 20% Camp Furnace Hills: FY19: 90% FY20: 50% FY21: 20% Benchmark updates are posted with Property Committee meeting summaries Revenue is based on troop and group rental, as well as philanthropy dollars received for that specific camp property.

Revenue Against Benchmarks, As of August 31, 2018 Reminder: Benchmarks are based on subsidy rates, as per Board of Directors approved motions. Camp Archbald & Happy Valley: FY18: 90% - Met FY18 Benchmarks FY19: 50% - Current fiscal year FY20: 20% Camp Furnace Hills: FY19: 90% - Current fiscal year FY20: 50% FY21: 20% NEED TO MAKE SURE TO STATE – no decisions will be made about a camp until the conclusion of this three year period. For Archbald and happy valley – conclusion of this time frame is September 30, 2020 and for Furnace Hills conclusion of this time frame would be September 30, 2021
