Presentation transcript:

Finding the “meme”-ing of life. The art of using memes to communicate.

Memes are an interesting and at times funny way to communicate Memes are an interesting and at times funny way to communicate. A veritable overnight sensation, memes started popping up all over the internet a few years ago. Memes come in many different forms but they all have one thing in common: instant recognition. Based on what picture is used, you can commonly tell what the general idea of the meme is going to be.

A good meme should be clear and relatable.

Your task today is to create two memes that talk about an event from Ender’s Game. You want to be creative and have some fun with this project. Along with the two memes you will have two short write-ups explaining your memes on a separate sheet of paper. As always, your work needs to be school appropriate.

Here are some examples: (Stilson and Ender’s fight, Ch. 1)

Requirements: Two Ender’s Game memes. (Referencing events up through Chapter 6) Two write-ups about the memes you have created. Talk about what the meme means and what chapter it is found in. This activity will test your creativity and your understanding of the book.
