Paul’s Advice to the Corinthians I. “Watch” (vs. 13). A. Jesus’ teachings on watchfulness (Matt. 24:36-44; 26:36-41; Mark 13:9). B. Paul’s teachings on watchfulness (1 Thess. 5:1-10). C. The “watchman for the house of Israel” (Ezek. 33:1-10).

Paul’s Advice to the Corinthians II. “Stand Fast in the Faith” (vs. 13; Luke 18:8). A. Some hear the word but Satan snatches it from their hearts (Luke 8:12; 2 Thess. 2:9-12; James 1:13; Mark 5:1-20; Heb. 2:14; Rev. 20:1-3; 2 Tim. 2:26). B.
