World History April 3, 2009 Take the first few minutes of class to read and review sections 4 and 5 of Chapter 26, beginning on page 834.

Question #1 List each of the four military alliances noted prior to, or during, WWI.

Question #2 List in sequence the major nations that entered into the war, and what events forced them into war.

Question #3 What was the impact of Russia’s withdrawal and the United States’ entering into WWI?

Question #4 Describe the Treaty of Versailles, and list all the punishments towards Germany.

Question #5 Describe the Bolshevik Revolution, and what was the change in political system that followed.

Question #6 How did the end of WWI set the foundation for WWII?
