Making it Alone Brainstorm: If you move out on your own, and are having trouble making it alone- What are your options? 1. 2. 3. 4.

Basically: The Republic of Texas was faced with the same dilemma. Texas tried most of the options and in 1845, Texas decided to take advantage of the option of moving in with a close friend-the United States. In December 1845, Texas was annexed to the United States as the 28th state in the Union by a formal agreement called an annexation treaty or agreement
