Mr Winter, Mr Massey, Mrs Ransom Mrs Mackay Meet the Team! Mr Winter, Mr Massey, Mrs Ransom Mrs Mackay
Homework Homework will be given out in English (including Spelling) and Maths books on a Friday. It is expected that children will complete these each week and return the homework to school on a Wednesday. Spellings will be tested on a Wednesday, based on a rule we’ve learnt the week before. Additional homework may occasionally be set if children need further practice at particular skills or work in class. Topic homework will be asked for once a term.
Reading Your child will learn HOW to read during Guided reading sessions in class. These are skills which will then be practiced at home. We want children to enjoy reading and sharing books with you! Book banded books will still be sent home, but it is up to your child to change these often; your teacher will remind children to do this.
