Thursday April 13, 2017 Spring is the seeson that comes after winter and before sumer. Spring is when flowers begin to bloom and the whether get’s a little warmer. Many animals that were sleeping all winter come out of thier hiding places. People spend more time doing things out side like having picanics. In the spring, the school year begins to wind down before the summer brake. What does spring look like in the state wear you live.

The Book Thief Turn to page 138. We’re going to read to page 149. As we read: Remember, while we’re not having a traditional reading guide over this section, we’re still going to have a quiz eventually. Make sure you’re annotating as we go for easy studying 

Character Maps! Goals for Today: Finish up your character maps! Remember: All fifteen characters need a visual representation You need fifteen arrows describing the relationships Five of the central characters need a quote from the text that show something significant about their personality or character. For your five chosen quotes, you need a brief analysis (2-3 sentences) describing the importance of the line. Consider: What does your quote show about the character? Justify its importance. Homework: This weekend, you will need to read pages 150- 165 of The Book Thief. If you finish your character map early, you can get started! 
