Unit 3 Summative Assessment Template You should use this page to create your own title page. All group members names should be given here.

Proposal We have selected the following two phenotypes for the parent gametes: The mother of the superhero will be: The father of the superhero will be: Both parents should have both traits to ensure probability. For example, if your two traits are fast and strong, you would want BOTH parents to be very fast and very strong. Hopefully their genotypes will be homozygous dominant to ensure these traits make it through.

Product Trait 1, Superhero Trait 2, Superhero

Purpose Why will these phenotypes help to make the world better? Answer in a short paragraph.

Process Perhaps you added one trait from a non-human organism using genetic modification. How did you use another organism’s DNA to genetically modify your superhero? Explain in a short paragraph.

Final Product with Diagram For this slide, you may either digitally create a superhero, diagramming their traits, or you may draw a picture manually, take a picture, and insert it in this slide. Diagramming means that you are drawing lines to the traits and telling what they are and indicating the genotype and phenotypes for them. You should do this for both traits.
