Presentation transcript:

Attention! The Planet is in danger.

The climate change is here: The ice will melt at the poles. Sea level will rise. The ozone layer is disappearing.

The Forests are disappearing , the photographs shown are a reality check, but it is important to point out how the forests have been progressively diminishing. A process that seems to be irreversible if we do not act now.

Only 24 to 26 years separate these images! After reviewing the following comparisons you will realize that something must be done now to stop this deforestation that is affecting our planet. We must leave something for the next generation.

2002 1976 In this separation of just 26 years notice the amount of deforestation.

2004 1978 Again in just over a quarter of a century see what has happen.

1981 2005 Here is a snapshot of just 24 years. Look at the amount of forest that has been lost.

2003 1979 This is a comparison of 2 tropical forests. In this comparison there also appears to be an unexplained growth that is replacing the forest.

Friends of Nature, let us get together to save the forests while there is still time! 
