Alabama’s College and Career Ready Indicators Career Tech Credentialing Dual Enrollment/College Course Military Enlistment(National Guard, Active, etc.) AP Exam Qualifying Score of 3 or better ACT WorkKeys-12th Grade State Assessment ACT Writing-11th Grade State Assessment Currently, seniors meeting at least 1 indicator may be granted late arrival/early dismissal. You must meet an indicator to graduate early.

Why is it important to do your best on the ACT® test? It can help students get into college (88% of US colleges consider test scores in admissions decisions) It gives students information on careers they might enjoy Can determine eligibility in a division for prospective college athlete Scores can lead to scholarship and financial aid opportunities.

How is the ACT set up? Test 1-English(45 mins) Test 2-Math(60 mins) Break-15 mins Total Time = Approx. 4.5 hrs Test 3-Reading(35 mins) Test 4-Science(35 mins) Break-5 mins Writing-40 mins Please bring a calculator for math portion. No version of TI-89 allowed.
